PRISM Laboratory Hosts Practical Session of Inserm Workshop on Spatial Multiomics

PRISM laboratory is proud to host the spatial proteomics practical session of the Inserm Workshop 286, titled “Impact of Multiomic Spatial Technologies on Research”. This workshop, taking place in November 2025, will bring together leading experts to explore spatial transcriptomics, proteomics, and multiomics integration.

The event consists of two phases. The theoretical phase will be held in Bordeaux from November 19 to 21, 2025, featuring presentations on spatial omics, proteogenomics, and data integration using AI. Following this, participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on sessions during the practical phase, choosing between spatial transcriptomics in Lyon or spatial proteomics in Lille, hosted at PRISM. This session will allow attendees to explore mass spectrometry-based spatial proteomics in a cutting-edge research environment.

The theoretical phase will cover four key themes:

  • Overview of spatial transcriptomics and proteomics
  • Spatial proteogenomics and its role in uncovering hidden biological dimensions
  • Applications of spatial transcriptomics in biomedical research
  • Integration of multiomics data with bioinformatics and machine learning

The event will feature internationally recognized speakers, including Isabelle Fournier (France), Karl Mechtler (Austria), Jasmine Plummer (USA), Xavier Roucou (Canada), and Sarah Slavoff (USA). Researchers, engineers, and students working in omics, bioinformatics, and clinical research are encouraged to participate.

Registration is open until June 27, 2025, with confirmation sent approximately 15 days after the deadline. The registration fee includes meals, while participants are responsible for accommodation and transportation costs.

The Inserm Workshop 286 is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, interact with experts, and deepen knowledge in spatial multiomics. More details, including the full program and registration process, are available on the official Inserm Workshop website.
